Urbana F.A.Q.

How long until my cabinetry is ready?

Lead times for cabinetry are typically between 6-8 weeks, but can vary depending on the schedule of our manufacturers’ factories and the number of orders currently placed in the system. Please contact your Urbana designer and they can confirm the most current lead time for your project.


How much does the average project cost?

Cabinetry and counters, fabrication & installation for a smaller project can range from $10-20,000.00 depending upon material selection & features. Cabinetry for a medium sized kitchen are in the 20,000 to 35,000 range. Larger projects can be 35,000 plus. Site preparation and appliances also can vary greatly. A basic replacement without structural changes or mechanical system upgrades can range from a few thousand to a major renovation where the room is stripped to the studs and many systems or structure are replaced. Appliance packages can be anywhere from about 5,000 and up. Flooring, lighting, plumbing fittings will also vary greatly. Each project is unique & as designers we diligently work to pull all these necessary items together so homeowners have realistic budgets to work from.


What is included in your services?

Our designers work closely with their clients to ensure they get their dream kitchen. We start off by setting up a site visit to your home to get measurements and then draw up a couple different concepts. From there, we have a creative brainstorm which narrows the design to a final product. We can also provide remodeling services if required which includes, demolition, plumbing, electrical, tiling, drywall and paint.


Where are your cabinets made?

We are proud that all of our cabinets are BC made. We carry two lines of high quality cabinetry, Columbia Cabinets, which is made in Abbotsford, and Nickels Cabinets, constructed in Richmond.
